Glass fabric / cloth (also called release fabric) is used to cover the tool directly in order to enable easy release of the component.  The PTFE surface coating provides release from all types of resin systems.  VAC Innovation provides porous or non-porous (self adhesive or non-adhesive) coated glass fabric.  All have a usage temperature 240°C+.
